How to Get Rid of Information Overload and Learn Social Media Without So Much Struggle

Nutrition, jewelry and fashion I knew, …. Social Media, eh?

You will not make the same Social Media mistakes as so many newbies like myself have done.  Save yourself time, money and some major headaches!

This article takes you through the maze of “Social Media information” that I went through to learn how to market my business online.   It then presents a much easier, less stressful way FOR YOU to navigate all that’s available, and be successful.

My first experience in Social Media:

At first I joined facebook, twitter, linked in… and  did nothing for awhile. I occasionally put a few posts on facebook with hardly no one responding and I wondered why everyone had so many “friends” and I had so few – 4000 to my 60 – what’s up with that?  Just hearing that there were over 350 social media sites put me in a tizzy. I wanted to learn more, I wanted to know it all and I wanted to know it NOW.

A better way:

Take a deep breath and realize there is a lot to learn about marketing on the internet through social media.  Recognize that while there are so many Social Media sites you do not need to start with all of them.  Pick one, like facebook, and focus on learning and mastering all the skills you need related to that.

The Great Wealth Transfer

Written after attending “The Great

Wealth Transfer Conference”

Two weeks ago I went to  ” The  Great Wealth Transfer Conference” organized by Ann Sieg and her 80/20 Marketing Team.  I wanted to let the information simmer in my brain before I put pen to paper.
My mission is to guide women to financial stability and security so they can have peace of mind for themselves and their family, and therefore have been studying as much material as I can get my hands on and absorb into my brain.

Motivation and Inspiration

I was encouraged to put together a video on what inspires and motivates me by a woman named Crystal Curtis.

Crystal is donating money to MS for everyone who posts  a video on “What Motivates and Inspires Them” on her wall.

I took the challenge and would like to share my video with you:

Budget – Your Next Step in The Financial Planning Process

A comprehensive list of items for a personal monthly budget  or how not to be caught at the end of the month with a list of needs and no money to pay for them is crucial in the financial planning process.

HOW TO SET UP A PERSONAL BUDGET- The Next Step in The Financial Planning Process

You may ask yourself the question – why do I need to do this?   Most women are not used to budgeting – we may tend to be impulsive and end up with a list of needs at the end of the month with no money left to cover them.  “Too much month left at the end of the money” syndrome and obviously no involvement in the financial planning process.

I had first set up a list of monthly expenses  and even though , as my financial advisor told me, I included more information than most,  boy did I miss a lot.  You need to be specific if
you are going to do an accurate accounting for your financial planning process.

“I have nothing to wear.”

Fashion Friday Tip – Key Iem #10
to keep in your Forever Closet:

Dark rinse jeans – bootcut or straight leg.

The dark rinse jean has come shining through numerous generations and
maintains a style favorite for all Enthroned Empresses. Pair with a
button down shirt to dress up, or with a cute tee shirt to dress down.
Add stylish boots, pumps or ballet flats and you have a simple classic
outfit. You’re stylishly good to go whether you are running errands,
meeting some friends for lunch or going to a meeting.
Holli’s faves:
Not Your Daughters Jeans (NYDJ)
because they are specifically designed
to slim down the often problematic
lower abdomen, contour the hips, and
lift the tush.
